Washington Heights, Inwood and Marble Hill are the three northernmost neighborhoods on the island of Manhattan (Marble Hill is the landlocked section of Manhattan, now geographically connected to the Bronx). Washington Heights occupies the high ridge in the upper Manhattan, stretching north from Harlem at 155th Street to Inwood.
